That is a beautiful build! Missed it first time round.gavrob wrote:For 1/12th, I use 0.7mm rivets. Pictures of my M23 are here: http://www.f1m.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=20964
Some of the photos show the rivets on the rear of the monocoque and rear wing.

Re: New 1/8 Pocher kit.
I'm lost on the negativity here! ;-) I think you're confusing constructive criticism with negativity. If a product costs circa $800 then I feel it should be good. To spend that amount and then have to respray the body isn't good. It's not the fact that I can't do it, it's the fact that I wouldn't w...

Looks like they have made the roof as a separate plug on item to save on cost, yet it costs a fortune..?? For the price I would have expected better.. Pret...

Re: Possibly why Tamiya has not invested in new 1/12 F1 kits
It's sad that my once number one plastic kit maker, does not make kits like they used to. Tamiya, in my opinion, made the best plastic kits. They were easy to build, had excellent, easy to follow instructions and could be built up into beautiful models with care and patience. But now I look elsewhe...

Right Click -> Search Google for Image -> https://goo.gl/7IwH41 Turns out it's a 1/144 R/C ship. Pic is from the Chinese factory where they're built. OMG!!! Has the world gone completely mad...LOL! So at that scale they really are getting on for 2 metres! Have you seen all the superstructure assemb...

Re: Fiat 806 1/12 a small w.i.p
Very nice work Thomas! You've made a nice job with the floor photoetch. I must admit I was going to use wood instead but I' m inspired now to have a go with it. I was intending to use masking tape for the steering wheel rim too as it looks far too thick with the supplied material. Do you mind if I p...
