Hi Franck,
Great job on this not so easy Revell kit.
The red decals and the painted areas really blend in well.

Beautiful work! I’ve had the kit for years but always been intimidated by the paint/decals. I’ve thought about laying down the red decals first and then blending in the paint versus masking, painting and then adding the decals as per the instructions. How did you go about it and what paint did you used to match the decals?

That wasn’t easy, after cracking problem with the 20 years old decal, I did my own printing, then not to have any single difference I decide to paint in red Humbrol with a brush the body work and over the decals I printed, the result is not 100% prefect If you have a look to the very close picture, but I am very happy with, and to paint and vanish with a standard brush remind me when I started modelling as well, I realise it still possible to get nice result.PJE wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 10:22 am Beautiful work! Great job Franck! I also enjoyed the WIP; clever solutions to some of the issues you came across.
