WIP MS 11

I've been working for ages on this one - with long pauses.

Partly that was due to the fact that it is very hard to find good references. So, where some of the wires go to or end are pretty big guesses ..

some more. I am aware that the engine needs a lot of touching up before it goes into place ...

I don't kwon if it accurate or not, but it look pretty darn good to me.
Also the engine at least has a very realstic look.

Unless I'm wrong, I believe that is the Tamiya 1/12 scale kit.

Thanks for the comments, everyone...

The kit is indeed Tamiya 1/12. Normally I stay with 1/20, but I wanted to have a kit of a car from the time they grew wings!!

I just thought that the usual posture of the driver with two hands at the wheel is boring, so I chnaged it. I guess he is waving at his mechanics because he wants to start his engine??

And, btw, the third picture is only an in-progress shot of re-adjusting the fingers and arm. No offense was intended, least of all to the valued members of this forum!! ;)
(it could, of course, be the inspiration for a DC diorama....)

It's not getting any faster...

But at least the slow work prevebted any major srew ups sofar :)

Here are some more pictures of test fitting. It appears that the cockpit cover could be a bit tight after addint the cables inside and having changed the posture of the drivers arm ...
