Cool! is it the Revell kit? or the S27 one? Did you use fluorescent yellow?

This is a Revell, just like the other Jordan I posted pics of. The yellow I used is Tamiya TS16.

...and another beautiful one!! But the tyres seem to be the old rubbish stuff that they also put on the F1-2000, only this time at least the size seems to be more or less ok. Or do the pics fool me? You still can change them, I did it with the Ferrari.

Changing the tyres is a good suggestion. Any you might recommend? BTW,I'm awake now.

there was a tutorial for the F1-2000 on this site somewhere - at least 2 years ago! I think I used tyres of Kyosho RC models (miniZ) or so? some weird scale, 1/28, but fits quite well. I will look it up for you, but maybe you manage to find this tutorial, they explain very detailed how to do it. With the bridgestone decals I did the following: wash them off the old tyres, and 'glue' them on the new ones with clear (Tamiya, acryllic). But that's a nasty job, since the decals can break into several tiny pieces. If you can get replacement, eg. directly from Revell, I'd strongly recommend to do this! On this occation, you may even get replacement tyres from Revell, eg. for the Sauber C22 which in fact are very nice.

Kyosho's Mini-Z F1 tyres are 1/24, and fits perfectly in the Revell's wheels from the Toyota onwards; the F1-2000, EJ10 and FW24 needs some rebuilding of the wheels to fit. Kyosho's tyres are real rubber, and looks a lot better even than the more recent Revell ones. Kyosho's also sells stickers of the tyre markings, which adhere easily to the rubber.

Thanks Coop. Did you sand the tires? I always wonder why all Revell tires look so shiny.
