Minardi PS05 - Red Five 1/20

Hello F1 fans
here is my last one, the last Minardi, driven by C. Albers (NL) at the 2005 Chinese GP.
It was my first multimedia kit and ... ... it was not that easy to build !
The Red Five decals were very difficult to apply, I had to remove the varnish and replace it with 2 coats of Microscale Liquid decal film.

That's a really great job, Olivier! I've heard those Red 5 models can be quite a challenge, you did fantastic.

Sweeet!!!! The effort was well worth it, and if I saw this in person i'd geek out for sure. I'm a sucker for backmarker cars, especially Mindardi's. I mean c'mon, who doesn't love Mindardi?

I removed the varnish with a scalpel, very long to do but not that difficult because it was not very adherent to the coat of the decals.

A spare sheet of decals exists (by Auto Modelers Cafe) but hard to find.

Great job on this. Red 5 i know are not always the easiest kits in the world to make so considering that its a fantastic finish.

Also you could have used pattos place for decals
