Lotus 72E Doublebuild Tamiya/MFH 1/12

I don´t know, if anybody remembers my post one year ago, where I started a WIP of this project. I just finished the build and didn´t manage to post a single picture inbetween.
Shame on me.
This build was quite a lot of work and learning, as this was the first project with parts from my own lathe and mill.
So here are the Pictures. Any critics are welcome.

simply amazing Bodo...a joy to look at. Did you use two MFH kits or only one for the open car ?

What lathe/mill did you buy, and are you happy with it ?

This looks amazing, the attention to detail is astonishing! Almost enough to tempt me to acquire a larger scale kit - but I think I need to get better with 1/20 before tackling anything even 10% as detailed as this, great job!

thanks for your reply. I used two Tamiya and two MFH kits. The lathe and the mill are from sherline. These are perfect, I am absolutely happy with them.
