He thinks that Hamilton mopping the track with him is the best option for his career?

Re: Button to McLaren
It could spur both of them on to greater things. I've always rated Button, and though I rate Hamilton higher, I'm very excited by the prospect.
As to who will come out on top, I'll reserve judgement.

Some say he believes Star Wars is a documentary...
Re: Button to McLaren
Sounds like D.Hill all over again.
McLaren may not be the same thing as Arrows but i expect Hamilton to have him under control.
My prediction is, Buttons 2009 championship will stay his sole one .-)

Re: Button to McLaren
I can't think of one reason why he wants to team up with Hamilton at "McHamLarens" maybe Jenson will surprise us but I can't imagine him beating Lewis next year...
There are currently only 2 top drivers who would be able to challenge Hamilton in a McLaren and that is Alonso and Raikkonenm in my opinion...
On a side note quite funny that it is McLaren who grabs the current WDC from MercedesGP... Rosberg / Heidfeld doesn't sound like a winning combo... (Rosberg maybe...). Can't wait for Norbert Haug to suger coat a all german Rosberg / Heidfeld line up, will be hilarious

What's so hilarious there? I'm sure they are both capable of winning given the right car. And I would rate Heidfeld higher.Decs0105 wrote:... Rosberg / Heidfeld doesn't sound like a winning combo... Re: Button to McLaren
I didn't mean the line-up itself, I am sure Rosberg will win races in a good car. But anyway, none of them won a race, that's a fact. Mercedes couldn't agree on a deal with the current WDC who dominated the first half of the season with the exact same team. And despite that Haug will praise everything in endless interviews and finish every second sentence with "Wir hatten den Speed" (we had the speed (to win)), like he usually does after the race when they completely f***** upJM wrote:What's so hilarious there? Re: Button to McLaren
After Hill and Mansell, yet another Brit World Champion who takes his #1 to a team different to the one with which he got the title.
Certainly curious. I supose the good and wise brit fans must be somewhat pissed...
It'll be the second #1 in four years that team McLaren did not win.
Sad to see the grid losing two race winners (or 1,5) and one world champ. A shame, since with four of them on the grid, that was a record figure since a long time.
