WIP: 1/20 Tyrrell P34 (UPDATED)

Post by chongman »

Still working on the blue (TS-15) body parts, up to 8000 grit right now so we are getting close to being ready to show you some color real soon.

I guess you guys are wondering what ever happened to the instrument panel and the machined alum. gauges eh? Well... I have got that all done tonight, just need to add some clear on top of the decals and it's good to go!

The toggle switches are a combination of pe washers and RB Motion .015" dia.hex head bolts that have been rounded some. The fire button is a piece of red wire insulation with a stub of alum. rod inside... not bad, just okay. The master electrical switch (that's what I'm calling it!) is a short piece of alum. rod with a T-Handle shaped from white styrene plastic. I added a pe screw to the face. After the assembly is mounted I'll add the wires and all to the backside.

Thanks for looking!

For you mate, I will show the progress....

The blue and white parts of the body are now ready for clear! Still have to give the rear wing parts some attention but that will be fairly quick work. I forgot to paint the helmet!
