More progress - Front suspension done, added a few wires for the brakes. Still need to add some wiring around the suspension to the wheel hubs. Front radiator is next & after that the engine and chassis will meet - woohoo!

Added this pipe out the back of the engine, I think it's for water? Anyway, it's a piece of solder with black wire in the end. It joins to part of the DFV block on the right hand side (near headers). Lost an exhaust spring whilst building.. MFH are kindly sending me a replacement 8)

Stock roll bar broke when I was trying to make it wider. Tried scratching one with brass rod but ended up settling for solder =) Looks OK, but I'll attach this at the end as I need to work on the underside. Nose needed a bit of work to fit over the suspension, so we'll see how this turns out - fingers crossed.

Engine & body are now one =) Once dry I'll try and dry fit the external hose fittings again & give a final finish of clear before mounting on the body... oh - also have to try and cut the vacu-form windscreen without screwing it up

Good luck with the screen, I,ve found that Tamiya decal scissors are very good for cutting clear vac.

Here we go - nearly home!

front & back are now attached - wheels are also done as is the inlet trumpets, mirrors & radiator piping. Just need to finish off the previously mentioned windscreen & one final radiator hose (the one with the decal & heat shrink on the side).

Couple teaser shots with scrap windscreen. Ride height is 2x paddle pop sticks + ignore grinding discs used for wheel alignment =)

What a beautiful looking model. The first of the three shots is my favourite. So much mechanical detail!!
