Re: What did you build this year?
I'm with Dustbin. It takes me forever to get a kit completed.
I wonder what the response to a new topic: What have you got partially completed?
Or, what project are you going to start next?........with a monthly follow-up just for fun.

Re: What did you build this year?
Some of the things I've been building this year
CNC Mill
1/20 brake detail set prototypes
some 3D CAD models for R25 conversion
some test runs for R25 parts on CNC Mill
helped to develop a CAM utility for Linux (is not finished yet)
paint booth (hope have it finished this year)
No models so far.

-ATS D4 Surer Dutch GP
-ATS HGS1 Borgudd dutch GP

Re: What did you build this year?
Hmmm. I think:
Tamiya 1/20th McLaren MP4/7
Tamiya 1/24th Toyota Celica Monte Carlo '93
Tamiya 1/12th Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia addition
Blimey that's not many, I think I bought about 15...

Re: What did you build this year?
After a long time away (4-5yrs), I finally carved out some space and time to get back to a little kit building in the past few months. Turned back to a project I started several yrs ago: a collection in 1/43 of a representative car for each of the first 50 yrs of Ferrari's participation in F1, 1950-99. I was inspired by a similar collection I saw at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.
Not all 50 cars will be builds; I think when I am done, about 25-30 will be built kits.
This yr I completed:
MG Models 1966 312
MG Models 1973 312 B3
Tron 1960 F246
Tameo 1983 126C3
Still have to make:
MMK 1963 F156
BBR 1993 F93A
BBR 1996 F310
Then I will have a complete set and can (i) start to build the dozens of other 1/43, 1/20 and 1/12 scale F1s sitting in storage, or (ii) perhaps go back through the collection and start replacing non-kit yrs with builds . . .
It's nice to be back at it. I forgot how much pleasure building kits can be.
