Tamiya Ferrari 312T4
This is a kit i am quite happy with. Tamiya quality in this kit is superb....and although i didn`t detail it, it still does have a quite high amount of detail.

That looks SWEET! I thought I might share an experience I had with that kit using the stock chrome. I built mine several years ago and even with using Microsol this happened over time. Maybe I did something wrong? Suggestions for a future attempt at this kit?

bossy 122: I have always questioned how the kit models we build overcome the test of time. In order to preserve them as much as possible, i enclose them inglass cubicles, airtight as possible. If its an open shelve, then the decals will collect dust and all the elements in the air. I think in that way they`ll become more subject to damage.

Super clean build G, nice finish. What red did you use for the body?
I have to agree with Glank the best way to preserve the finish on any model is to encase it, preferably airtight. This will keep dust and moisture away from the model and decals. Also remember not to display in direct sunlight (window shelf) as this will dry the decals out even if they have a gloss lacquer applied.
I actually made my own case to house the Tamiya 1/12 collection which is part started as you can see :-
Nothing I could find on the market which is airtight and deep enough for 1/12 cars to be displayed.
Cheers
