Green Maserati 250F
Last weekend, on the way to my favourite hobby shop, I suddenly noticed something green sitting on a trailer, it took a few seconds until I realized it, so I turned around to find out it was a Maserati 250F, Fangio's championship winning car of '54 and '57. It seems to belong to a collector, who lives there and was just cleaning his 'Garage' (looks like other people's bathroom!). I found a type plaquette inside the cockpit clearly identifying the car, and checking my references afterwards finally proved it really was a 250F. Unfortunately I had no chance to get my camera and take a couple of pics But does anybody know anything of a GREEN Maserati?!?
forza Ferrari!!!
Hi Tc,
It is probably chassis 2507 raced by Roy Salvadori for Gilbey Engineering hence the national racing colour of Britain. This car is now owned by Mr. Klaus Edel. For more info go to the link below it contains histories of all chassis.
cheers
John

Both are very nice curbside kits.
