Re: Any members of Buyee? (Outside EU or UK)
Hi Sean,
Buyee is a proxy buying service for Japanese Yahoo auctions and other sites, rather than an auction site itself.
It's unclear to me from your message if you are looking for a UK member or one outside of the UK. If you are looking for a UK member I am one.
Regards
ES

I’m familiar with Buyee thanks. But was looking for members - as the title suggests - ‘outside EU or UK’.
I have been contacted by a member already thanks, however it seems the listing I’m looking at is unavailable to any members of Buyee regardless of your location.
Frustrating to say the least, oh well

In some cases, items are also blocked due to contact with the seller. It doesn't matter where people want to access it from.seamus wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 6:26 am I’m familiar with Buyee thanks. But was looking for members - as the title suggests - ‘outside EU or UK’.

Are you looking for something specific Sean? Also via PM.
Greetings Thomas

Re: Any members of Buyee? (Outside EU or UK)
Well I have received this response from Buyee customer support…
“We are sorry for your inconvenience, unfortunately at this time some sellers choose to prohibit any Buyee users from bidding on auctions hosted by Yahoo Auction Japan. We are working on a solution and hope to have an answer in the near future. Again we are sorry for your disappointment. We would suggest if possible contacting a friend with a local Japanese address to purchase the item for you”.
I do now have a work around however, so I’m hopeful of still securing the kit - fingers crossed.
Thanks for your help everyone.

For all Buyee users: Buyee recently switched from DHL to Fed Ex....at least to the USA.....without bothering to mention this before choosing "Buyee Air". And come to find out, Fed Ex have a nasty habit of "losing" parcels or - in my case - dropping them in the middle of your porch, WITHOUT ringing the doorbell or knocking or in anyway shape or form letting you know they are placing it there so their friend can come along and steal it within minutes. When I checked the feedback for the local office, I saw several other instances quite similar to mine. So, shippee beware. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bereau which went no where. FedX simply falls back on, "our delivery guy took a picture of it on your porch..." Yeah and my surveillance took a picture of his friend taking it. Which, HE could have done and cut out the middle man.

Fed Ex messaged me last week to say they had just delivered my kit from Japan but when I went looking I couldn't find it.bossy122 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 5:05 pm For all Buyee users: Buyee recently switched from DHL to Fed Ex....at least to the USA.....without bothering to mention this before choosing "Buyee Air". A few minutes later I got a phone call from a cafe across town to say Fed Ex had just dropped a parcel off with my address on it.
I raced over and collected it but how do these couriers find their way home ?

Federal Express: When it absolutley, positively has to be stolen from your porch.
