Re: 2024 F1 season ahead
We're already 80% of the way through the weekend with the wacky new schedule. Qualifying finished a few hours ago.
This is a US centric view, but F1 is certainly making it hard as a US viewer to watch races. Las Vegas was scheduled as if it was in Asia, and now we have a race with most sessions occurring during week days. Its not a good way to get excited about a new season.

Qualifying already over with, I missed it. I see the starting grid looks very similar to last year. Without naming names LOL.
I hope we have a good season.

Don't forget, next week's race weekend will also start on Thursday and race day will be on Saturday again.
After that, race schedule will be back to normal, i.e. race day on Sunday.

Re: 2024 F1 season ahead
I think I saw this one already..........
Re: 2024 F1 season ahead
I have not followed a race for years now, but race on saturday???
Actually i watch the race, but it`s just like the last race i`ve seen. WEC seems much more interesting and they are starting also this weekend in Quatar and the cars looking nice!

Re: 2024 F1 season ahead
I found an on demand replay and didnt think it was correct. The bright green car looked different but everything else was the same......including Lewy in a Mercedes, not a Ferrari. I then find out that he's going to Italy NEXT year. I've been following the sport since 1981 and can't recall someone signing with a new team THAT far ahead. Once that all got straightened out, I watched the same old parade....yawn. At least over in the WRC, Rovenperra is nice enough to do a partial season and stuff it in a snow bank in his first rally. Maybe F1 needs some snow banks.

Both Kimi and Fernando signed a year before
Otherwise the snow looks a good idea

Re: 2024 F1 season ahead
Ferrari has done it lately. Vettel knew he was out before the 2020 or 2021 season. Montoya announced he was leaving Williams super early too.bossy122 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 5:56 pm I found an on demand replay and didnt think it was correct.
