Best of 2023

Post by bossy122 »

Usually member seanMAIN does this post but I haven't seen it as of yet so I will pick up the Best of ball and run with it. If you would like to post your completed projects from 2023; let's see what we got done :)

Myself, I had the Midas touch this year and had more failures than successes. I only finished 3, none of which I started in 23, sadly.

Some F1, some Indycars, some Sportscars and bit of Rockets/Spaceships. Didn't get the last one I started completely finished, so I have a headstart into the new year.

Happy new year everyone!

I had a very productive year in 2023!

Started off with a Tamiya Lotus 99T converted to the 98T (only decals and paint). Then in the following order:

- Original 1/20 Tamiya Martini Porsche with fresh decals.
- Ebbro Tamiya 1/12 Matra.
- 2 1/20 Wolf kits, the original one with etch set and the S27 Keke Rosberg version.
- 3 McLaren Ebbro kits to complete all the 4/30 -4/31’s.
- Tamiya Ferrari F189 Early Version.
- Restored my original Tamiya B192.
- Converted my old built of a 1/12 Lotus 78 to the Nilsson Japan version (bought the re release with etch to built the Andretti version in the future and wasn’t happy with the old yellowed decals on my old built).
- Tried to restore my old 1/20 Lotus 107, but ended up buying a second hand one and built a new one because I destroyed the suspension parts in Tamiya paint remover.
- 1/20 Fujimi Williams FW14B.
- 1/20 Lotus 91 Ebbro Austria.
- Built a second MP4/4 1/20 Tamiya for the birthday of a friend.
- The big 1/12 Ferrari 312 and 312B project as posted on this forum.
- 1/20 Ebbro Lotus 33

Lets hope 2024 will also be as productive, as I still have a lot of kits in my to do pile :)

Cheers!

Ron

I only finisehd this 1/1 largescale motorbike...will probably start the 1/12 Tamiya version soon. The 1/1 took me seven years, hope the smaller one is a bit faster.
