Official release was just yesterday so maybe all are busy packing boxes for shipment!! :>)
Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU
I didn't get my invoice until several days after you did and, of course, no shipping notification yet. I always get just a little frustrated with HobbyEasy as they are always a little slow - a couple of days to a week go by before you get an invoice on in-stock items, then a couple more days before it is packed after payment, I put it down to being spoiled by Amazon where orders are filled literally in minutes and in your hands very quickly. I also suspect that they had quite a list of orders to invoice and that it is probably a manual process unlike Amazon.
Side note: I wish the guys speculating about Tamiya involvement would make it crystal clear that they are either voicing pure speculation OR that they have some hard information but not just put out unsupported statements about box art and production - it just muddies the waters to no good purpose.

Do we have an alternative source beside HobbyEasy yet ? Shipping from Hong Kong to North America is not cheap.

My parcel is on the way.
Btw: tamiya is not involved in this product - beemax just simple use the box format from tamiya for this kit too.

That makes sense, it seemed a bit strange for them to be working with them.scaleautofactory wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 12:25 pm My parcel is on the way.

Mine for the MP4/4 took a fair amount of time to receive. I'm having to hold off on this one since I've barely made a dent on that kit, but I also had a pretty long delay after it shipped for it to get to the US too.

I had pretty quick delivery with my MP4/4.12 days if I remember correctly.Shipping is a bit costly until you see what the N A prices will be.
If you consider shipping cost from who ever you purchase from with cost of kit it all seems to be a wash.

Hobby Search Japan and HLJ both had pre-orders for slightly less than Hobby Easy, though it's probably more once shipping is factored in. Spot Model has it for significantly more than Hobby Easy, but might work for people in the EU.
Je ne regrette rien.
