Sure Steve. We gotta say the classic “if pictures are anything to go by...” though honestly I reckon that this level of clothing wrinkles is unachievable with rigid PS casting, though well, if that’s the philosophy of the project...

Beemax has announced a version for their 1/12 MP4/4 kit. It's the Monaco GP version and will be a "2 in 1" so it can built in Thursday and Sunday versions. The Thursday version has rain tires and the ultra high downforce rear wing with the extra beam wing. Looks like a Top Studio set is in the works too. No release date still.

The post also included some more 3D renders. It looks mostly right although the toy-like suspension mounting is still there and looks especially out of scale from the front.

Great stuff. Look forward to this kit as well.

Good to hear about Top Studio as well. Perhaps, Top Studio can do an upgrade for the Italeri MP4/2 as well?

It says that 2 helmets are included, not sure why, but the shape of what is shown is highly suspect and that visor prototype looks to scale to about 25mm thick. Also not sure what is going on with the panel lines on the prototype. The shape shouldn't be too hard to figure out - it was a popular model of Bell helmet in those years, I wore one myself, lol.

Hate the fact that they've molded belts on. :(

Nice "available from May", 129€ sounds like a good deal, considering the 8c Monza versions tend to retail for less than the msrp, so we might be looking at 120
