Re: Patrick Tambay RIP
Sad news indeed. One a nicest guys to ever drive a racing car, a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Met him several times during his Can-Am days (twice champion), always friendly & polite to the fans, and his competitors alike.
His wins for Ferrari at Hockenheim in 1982, and Imola in 1983 have passed into Ferrari folklore.

Wow! What a sad news
One of my favorites. I always thought he should have won the 1983 title. Even the 82 one
I reckon he had really poor health lately.
Race in peace Patrick!

Sorry to hear. So many great drivers including Patrick and great cars in 1982 and 1983 but still no driver championship. Real bad luck.

Hello,
Bad news indeed, I think he was one of the last real gentleman driver, when the F1 started to be more and more professional, I always liked his way to comment on tv and radio as well.
Cheers
