daves wrote:I just finished the Ferrari 312B. An older kit and it shows it. The only non kit item I used were Studio27 decals. Much higher quality than the originals. The biggest flaw is the tires do not fit the wheels. I know that Derek Collins sells beautiful replacement tires or I could have stuffed the tires with foam. My goal is to finish the backlog of kits on the shelf before my skills deteriorate and it is no longer a fun hobby. Certainly not a super detail project. It will look good with the rest of the 312T series on the shelf.

Super job there Dave.
Studio27 decals are great as the originals are a bit transparent on the white areas!
The Tamiya looks great out of the box!
You have been busy during the lock downs!
How many 1/12's is it?
All the best 8)

If you will push, prod, pull and massage those tires they should fit those wheels .

Well done!
I love that beautiful Formula one and the Tamiya kit is far from being bad.

Looks awesome! Those 1970s Ferraris are such classic looking racecars. Love the shots of your shelf with all the other Ferraris, thanks for sharing.

Looks great, Dave. Nice work, as always. :D :D :D

I know what you mean. I'm desperately trying to retire while I still have some ability in my hands and eyes. :o

Cheers,
