Senna Kart 1981 - 1/20
So the time has finally come and I was able to finish the kart.
No usual OOB because some things seemed too plump and undetailed to me, but I'm not alone with this opinion - I'm not the first one to refine this kart with scratchbuilding.
I never thought that it would take so long for this small model. I started it at the end of April, almost 2 months of modeling.
Basically, the model is not so much original anymore, because I cut and filed, changed and adapted almost all parts.
In addition, there was a completely different fuel tank - which I have never seen on this model.
Thanks again to everyone who supported me with a few questions and was also available with parts - really first class this support here in the forum!
Anyway, here are some pics of the finished model. I hope you enjoy them! Comments and / or remarks are of course welcome!

Thanks, yes that's right - the time was well spent. I didn't want to build in such detail, but once you've started you can find more and more things that you don't like and adjust it as much as possible.1slowhand wrote:Congratulations on a great build. Basically also my most complex model and that after almost 15 years without modeling.
