I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but Tamiya is re-releasing their 1/12 Tyrrell P34 with photoetch and a full seat harness. It's due to be released in July. A price has not been announced, but judging by the cost sheet from the distributor, I think the MSRP in the US will be about $159.99

Yeah, I saw that in a Hobby Link Japan video about the Shizuoka Hobby Forum last month, Deletraz. Apparently, Tamiya have worked out their YearGood licensing issues too, and the P34 will come with tyre logo decals this time.
On a related note, this month's issue of Model Graphix magazine in Japan, is showing Ebbro's BT-18 and Lotus 49B as "soon-to-come kits". The release dates are given as "undecided", and I never hold my breath for Ebbro releases anymore. But just the fact that they're in the magazine could mean something. Perhaps Model Graphix know something we don't.
Cheers, Chris

Preparations for our 1/20 plastic model, the Lotus 49B have been arranged.
The moulds are just about complete, then all we'll have to do is finish up the final decal sheet proofs.
This model is a kit that will give you the ability to choose between either the characteristically high-positioned wing fitted for the 1969 non-title Race of Champions, or after being banned, the somewhat smaller wing later fitted up on the transmission for the last half of the 1969 season, or more specifically, the US GP spec used by the next year's 1970 champion Jochen Rindt.

So yeah, I'm excited about the 49B. Looks like we'll get two sets of wings! But the moulds still aren't quite ready, and Ebbro are still proofing the decals. I'm more excited about the Beemax/ Aoshima BT52 that's supposed to come out this month.
