Hi Christian,
going over this thread again for inspiration. Do you use any kind of surface treatment on the body other than
primer before you pour the silicone over it to create the mould?
That aside wouldn't it be possible to just revert the 3D model so it is a negative, and then add 2-4mm of
material and then invert the 3D model again so you have a shape to use for the inner core? less manual
labour and an easy clean surface on the outside and the inside of the cast resin body in the end.
