That is a great price. I think the FW-14B and the McLaren cars of the same era are among the most visually stunning of that time. I built the 1/12 14B and the MP4/6 this past year. Great cars.

I'm getting away from F1 for a bit to try a very challenging subject, The Horton Ho229 from the end of WWII.

Looks like a nice little kit. Too bad about the wheel rims. I have two Little Garage 908/3 kits and I sold 2 UMI kits when the MFH kits came out. The Little Garage and UMI kits look like copies of your Voiki kit, very simple. If your going to build the TF winner here are some pictures I took for reference. Good Luck with your build.

If I should build an aircraft kit I think it would be this kit. The subject is super interesting. The design was WAY ahead in time - and that was maybe the big problem. The Nazi's actually got quite far with this project. Only to run out of time and money and the project was closed. Even though it was looking very promising and the technical problems got more and more solved. But you could always ask yourself - what if and if they had had enough time and money. Would that have been a dream-war-machine?

I believe it was only flown once and the pilot was killed when he lost an engine and landed short.

Could be correct. But with more time and money many technical problems could have been fixed.

Couldn't resist

1/12 Lancia 037
1/12 Ferrari 126C4

Both started, both polished, all resin parts soaked and sanded
