Cool stormtrooper!
I just picked up the Monogram re-issue of the Blue Beetle hot rod. An easy project to warm up the bench. Like spending some time with an old friend.

Erm, I hate to be the one to point this out but... count the seats. Most of the JASDF aggressors were two-seaters, so you'll have to be a little careful picking out a scheme.drledford93 wrote:Not cars but I got the Great Wall Hobbies (Lion Roar) f-15C and the tooling is FANTASTIC! An Aakgi "Egg ship" from Fujimi and a Lotus 79 from Hasegawa plus five JAS 39 Gripen from Revell are the latest to arrive.

Good catch but there are easy fixes for it! Actually, I have both the DJ and J versions. There are plenty of cool camo schemes but the green/black one is the one I quickly found a good pic of and like the best. That will definitely be my D but the J will have a scheme I couldn't find.MoFo wrote:Erm, I hate to be the one to point this out but... count the seats. Re: What is your latest model purchase
The final batch of my 2014 purchases arrived.
917 book is heavy.
These 961 kits are $11 each with free shipping from Japan. Check Amazon USA.
Aoshima's 6th gen Skyline and the rest came from AmiAmi.
Brush cleaning jars are available at local art supply stores, but I like this GaiaNotes one because it's small and space-efficient.
Mr. Super Booth uses double-sited tape to hold the filter, but it comes loose easily. This frame seems to hold the filter better, and doesn't use any adhesives.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
My latest buys include a Tamiya 1/20 FW11 from Kingkit (UK-based second-hand kit specialist) for a decent enough price. Also got a 1/144 Revell Tornado, Dragon 1/72 Challenger tank, and AMT tiny Trade Federation Landing Ship (Star Wars Ep I) at the same time.
Some say he believes Star Wars is a documentary...

Tamiya BMW 635 CSI in Jagermeister colours. I will probably do it in the Bob Jane T-Mart colours raced by Roberto Ravaglia and Johnny Cecotto at Bathurst in the mid 1980s.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
Lastest purchases, the 102B and FW11 are from my UK stash.
Lotus 79 I got for a very good price, just need the 4 spoke fonts to make Andretti's Dutch car.
CR250 a kit i have wanted for a very long time, I hope someone will do a chain and front fork set for this kit.
The 2 ST27 trans kits have had quiet a journey, I ordered them from Club Barchetta via MFH, I sent my order from my Kazakhstan work e-mail, and stated the delivery address as my home address in Indonesia on PayPal, after a few weeks and no sign of my kits I check up, only to discover they had been sent to my work address, I check the tracker and there last know location was Moscow on the 10th October, so by mid November i had almost given up hope of seeing them, but on 28th November the last day of my rotation a woman appeared at my office door with my parcel i was visiting the UK in December to visit family before Christmas so the kits came with me there, then back to Indonesia, so they are well travelled.
Also have the BT46 French GP on order.
