Re: TZ-750 DONE!

Post by PanAmNut »

OK, before I catch flack for the #7 scoot ....... client changed directions in mid-stream so it's Cecotto. Fortunately the change came before the point where I would have had to refinish a fairing ....... oooooow !

As usual I did not bother to clean it up between finishing and photographing ....... you all needed a few photos of dust right?

Anyway, it's done so now I get to go back and do the Baker scoot.

Enjoy !

Cheers,

Wonderfully Finished as your work Always is,
I hadn't seen one of these 750 Protar's built up and was interested to see the results as most of the Protar kits are grossly out of scale in areas & ill fitting... I would have to say this one is just wrong in so many areas, most obvious is the seat cowling which is way too big and sitting too low also, Well Protar were never quite on the mark with any of their own kits, The 1/9 1988 Eddie Lawson YZR500 looked more like a chopper when built OOB than a purpose built race bike  .... I built it as best I could which included reducing the swingarm lenght, changing front fork angle and also reducing the lenght of the forks, still not looking quite as it should... they are a headache at the least, I will say their 1/9 NS500 does look OK OOB..
I will also say I really enjoy looking at your work Ed, Its not hard to see why you are a Professional Builder... :)
