OK. Why not.
I've been told that the´Tamiya Lotus 99 is a good "newbie kit" so it might be food for a speed build. At least I'll give it a try.

Re: 2010 F1M "SPEED BUILD"
Hi all,
My F187/88C arrived on cue from HLJ, so I'm all set to begin on the 26th. The only thing I haven't got is holidays
Cheers
Tony

Re: 2010 F1M "SPEED BUILD"
Looks like some good interest is generating!
Personally I can't wait to get started!!!
For anyone concerned with the relatively short timeframe, perhaps view it that you're simply aiming to get as much done in as short a time as possible. If you don't finish, that's fine... if you do finish, that's also fine.
There'll likely be another GB later in the year as well, and perhaps another Speed Build after that towards the end of the year - so while enough of you keep showing interest, I'll keep trying to host them.
Looking forward to seeing the progress threads up pop up post-Christmas!

Re: 2010 F1M "SPEED BUILD"
OK I shall give this one a go. I will do the Espo Larrousse Lamborghini Lola LC90, this is the Hasegawa kit. Still not decided on either version as yet, we shall see how the painting goes.
Japan version
Monaco version
So will we do our own WIP threds or will there be a group one, or post builds here????

Do we need to start a wip for our models? I hope not, as I *suck* at photography...

Speed build? Me,right. I just pulled out a kit I have brought over 20 years this weekend. The Tamiya Brabham BT46. I will give this ago for the fun of it.

Sounds familiar My Brabham BT46 had been sitting in the "to-do" pile for 15 years, and the GB2009 finally inspired me to build it . Looking forward to seeing yours built.billgtp wrote:Speed build?
