Benetton carried the camera in Canada. Brabham also had a rear facing camera in, at least, Australia because it captured Senna hitting Brundle. I agree about the onboard footage that is always credited to being from Senna in 1988, it's so infuriating to see it wrongly credited. I think his legendar...

Love the details of the brake discs! did you use some kind of 'forged' cf decals to achieve this effect?

I did make some myself, some normal ones and some for Lotus cars from 1987 (late spec) till 1992.

I do think the V angle might also be different on both. Being the DFR being 'wider' and lower for the center of gravity. Didn't Benetton use their B188 in 1989 with the older spec as the new engine wouldn't fit the B188? They eventually used it in the B189 which was quite different.

I've had a fo searching but more pictures of the engine are small/blurry. Can't find any dimensions as well.
Is it possible to measure a scaled version?

I've had good results against the silver with diluted wood glue that I put between the surface and the decal. It hardens transparently and fills the small air bubbles that are responsible for the silver. That's interesting, do you think it's still possible to try this once the decals are settled? Y...
