Re: MP4/6
Hi Gorf, I'm working on the 1/12 MP4-6 now and I've converted it (as best I can) to the early season spec (large rear wing, integrated front wing/cowling, and painted windscreen). To make the rear wing end plates, I used thin brass sheet with a second layer of plastic sheet stuck to the inside of each endplate so that I could create a bevelled edge. The end plates are relatively straightforward to make. I did initially use plastic sheet entirely, but that proved a bit too weak and the end plates flexed somewhat. Pictures added.

Re: MP4/6
Great, great!!
I was to say that scratch building could be an option, but obviously actions speak louder than words!!
Can´t wait to see the windshield solution. I remember I preferred the painted early version, with the TAG sticker on the fluo red

PLease let me make the smart ass question.
Have you used the same windshield profile, or modified it? I assume you will have considered this, but I remember some time I shut up and the fellow modeler then said, "Ah, you could have mentioned it before!!" BTW it was the same area of similarly liveried car
Some pics
I mean, most probably profile is the same, but anyway!
