Re: Porsche 962
if you want to do an accurate 1987 car the rear end is wrong, the motronic box is different than the one you show and that's the same for the bigger dashboard knobs.
Re: Porsche 962
I need to corect myselfe. I will not built a LeMans car but a 962 with Rothmans livery. Because Revell kit just don't give me that detail witch I need to built a LeMans car. I saw many picturies of different version 962, now I will just combinate what I could. My goal is a Rothmans scheme of 962 for hm....friday testing:)

Right about a time...
to publish some new staf...
I decided to build Monza 1000km 87' entriy model:
with some extra decals and metal parts:
bodywork got primered..
I made rear rims covers, because Revell gave me too small rear ones:
Dashboard:
Confort seat:
Cockpit W.I.P:
And for the end, a little pr0nography:

Re: Porsche 962
That's a really interesting view at the end. Never seen a 962 rolling chassis without any bodywork or floorpan attached. The tub and rear section are pretty thin without the surrounding bodywork. With that much potential torsional flex in the frame of the car I can see why there were limits to how long it was competitive without redesign.
Cheers,
AJ

A little update of 962:
I scratch Interior. Pedals, acumulator, cockpit...:
Body has been painted. Cartograf decals are strong and hard to roll them over curves:
So far for now...

Re: Porsche 962 (4.5)
Nice Job Mihec,
I had planned on a similar project although probably not as detailed as your car..
I got a set of the Museaum Collection decals also in preperation as in your picture #5 of the WIP, but the blue is just far too light for the rothmans livery which was very dissapiointing when i got them in the post, that is just a terrible mistake at that level of retail by Museaum collection, The Revell decals blue is much more accurate in my opinion and completely different to Museaum's "effort"...
I won't be buying Museaum's decals again...
Dede.
