What happened ? Did you crack engine cover or other disaster of same sort ?

looks like two different paint colors. its ok zubski... it happens. :)

I decided to give this another go.

I paint the the red over again. Looks right this time. The engine is painted and same with the undertray.

Glad to see you're gonna give it another go. I had the same issue with the Academy Benetton B195. It went into the closet twice before finally finishing it, but it did get finished.

I like the paint on the engine and trans. What is it?

Thanks! it is TS-17 Gloss Aluminum.

Since alot of the parts were already painted it didn't take long to finish. The only thing is it has no decals.

i feel your pain, i am working on the Tamiya F2001. so far ive had the front spoiler spiderweb and fisheye on me to the point it cant be fixed and now the big white decals that wrap around the wing have split and they look like crap. What makes me so damn mad is i spent 40.00 in this. oh well like said earlyer i learned something from this one.....dont used high build sandable primer!!!! lol it ate away at the plastic leaving it soft.
