Post by JohnnyFerrari »

Hey,

We are currently working on the Tameo Ferrari F2000. WE started on the body work, drilled and puttied. We have also sanded and decaled the wheels. WE will not have many updates because examz are coming up in about 1 month.

Here are some Pictures.

Good to see you guy having a go at a joint build. That's a good idea.

Not the same, but I used to split boxes of Dragon military figures with school-friends and enjoyed comparing notes. The social aspect of modelling can be a lot of fun.

The kit you've started is a good one. This is one where the body shape looks a little stylised to me (the nose is not deep enough - have a look at the area where the nose cone would separate - this should be higher than it is wide, but the kit is more of a square), but it builds into a really nice replica. The hot weather vents are a great look (I was there that day and it was HOT!.!!).

update...... this is me wokring on it now. I masked the tires os that i oculd spray the clear, after the clear i used charcol on my finger( thanks Mr. Grumpy) to make it not as glossy. I test fitted some suspension parts also, and i epoxyed so parts like the mirrors that need to be glue before spraying. Sorry for the picture order, its kind of missed up.. And sorry that some of the pics are crappy, i had to use the old camara becuase the nwer one has to be charged..

update..... i primed the body and sprayed the first coat of Bright Red, i decaned the paint and waited for the bubbles to stop then i sprayed, you can see its just the first coat because i still have to spray some parts that still have primer on them. I am also almost done the tires all i have to do is add the rim inside. The front wing and undertray are primed, they await to be sprayed.. The Red looks way better in real life, my camara cant capture it though..

update...
I started decaling the body, i added more parts to the wing and primed it again, the wheels are now finished also.. The red looks blurry and like it has ornage peel but it does not, my pictures are big so i have to srink them and when i do it makes everything blurry and the quality bad.
