Thanks for the offer of the decal for the wing. That's very kind of you.The only problem may be removing the Benetton one that I have already applied as I used Mr Mark Softer on it and it seems very well stuck.roly01 wrote:Hi,
Looks just great even without any CF of extra wires.
I already offered it in you WIP threadb ut you might have missed it.
If you would like to have a CAWEL decal (don't mnd the spelling, I know it's wrong) for the rear of the rearwing, you can get it from me.

Steve,
Wonderful result mate, I am impressed with your paint skills, especially the green paint work. This kit almost begs for paint to replace the decals and you've carried that off very well indeed.
What was the problem with the fitting of the engine cover? I had a similar issue with my Jordan 191 due to a slightly bowed floor-pan, but worked around it by adding small strips of sheet plastic to the bottom of the engine cover and shaping the plastic accordingly.
As I haven't built the B192 yet, would you consider the same method worthwhile if it is the same floor-pan issue?
Cheers

The engine cover would not seat properly along the lip where it joins the floorpan. It was almost as if something was stopping it from going down far enough. It results in a gap all the way along the bottom between the engine cover and the undertray of a couple of mm's.
