FERRARI 312 T5 1/12 OK!

Post by NP#3TIMES »

Hi Guys,

This is my most recent kit finished, the Protar 1/12 Ferrari 312 T5, Villeneuve version.
I changed the original tyres for Tamiya 312T4.
Together, you can see an original part of the cowling, when Villeneuve damaged the car in an accident in the 1980 Argentina GP, look the identical red color.
I hope you enjoy! :)
Comments are welcome. :D
My best regards,

Sandro.

Wow! That looks great!
I heard the Protar T4 was not the best kit to build. How did you find it to put together?
That piece of memorobilia is nice! can you take a photo of the back of it so I can see the finish?

Which paint did you use for your model ? I like that it matches
original very well.

I'm not trying to be picky. But when you said identical, well both are red colors; in my opinion your paint is more richer red, while the original more pale, and orange. Although your red interior kit paint is closer match according to your pict.
Nevertheless the model looks great and looks like a real F1 car!!

Thank you for your comments! :D
Here, the back side of the 312 T5 piece.
Fiberglass and Carbon fiber.

Regards,

Sandro.

Many thanks for your comments.
I can say the shine difference its because the Model kit are painted this month, and the original part of 312 T5 are painted in 1980!!! 27 years ago.

My best regards,

Sandro.

Don't mean to argue, but I really don't think that is Carbon Fiber. Too early for C/F.
