WIP: 3 Tamiya Enzo's
Yesterday I started working on the 3 Tamiya Enzo's that I have (Standard Red, Yellow version, and the FXX). I am going to use this WIP to accomplish two things:
1) Keep me motivated to continually work on them.
2) Help me improve my picture taking skills with my new camera.
So........
yesterday I assembled all three engines, and primered them with Tamiya white primer. I am going to build these box stock, with the exception of CF where required (these require a lot of CF), and heat shielding foil. I am going to use mostly ALCLAD paints on the rear sub-frame and suspension. My color choices for the bodys will be as follows.
1) Black
2) Yellow
3) Red (FXX)
Please bear with me, as I will try to post some pictures tonight when I get home

RE: Re: RE: WIP: 3 Tamiya Enzo
Alright....
I got home last night and I touched up a couple of areas on the engines with primer. I cleaned up a couple of seams that had showed up after priming. This morning I shot the engines with Alclad Aluminum and I noticed that I had missed cleaning up about two areas. So tonight when I get home, the Alclad should have dried enough for me to fix these areas and continue painting. I will have pictures posted tonight of the engines(before detail painting), and the rear engine framework. The directions call out that the rear frame be painted X-56 metallic grey. I am going to use Alclad Dark Aluminum instead, because it has a finer, more scale metallic look to it.
