A different take on F1-2000

Post by AJP01 »

Hi all,

This is a new build that I got an idea for back in February. I thought I'd try a different view on Ferrari's F1-2000, and hopefully it will come out okay. I'm trying some things here that I've not done before, so it's sort of an early-stage work in progress. If the idea doesn't pan out, then I won't be upset about it because this is sort of an experiment.

I'm also starting work on a Ducati Desmosedici in 1/12 just so that I can try my first moto subject. Should be fun.

The pace of updates on this thread will be slow due to the fact that I don't have much time to build these days, but hopefully some will find this enjoyable to follow as it inches towards completion or the trash bin.

Thanks,
AJ Palomina

Thanks James. That is a great link. Akihiro's on a whole other level though - fantastic work he does. Guy's a genius.

I'm going to take the monocoque in a slightly different direction, in that I'm going to attempt to show the exploded view with tub / engine / gearbox separated. Not quite sure how that's going to work yet, but there is hope. :D

Cheers...
