Sauber C22, Revell, 1/24
Hi all,
got another one finished, as an old HH-Fan I dug out one of the Revell 1/24 kits,... which is already about 20 years old now, as I noticed with horror... (I'm getting old).
It's a nice little kit, that you should split the front suspension to glue and putty the chassis together is Revell standard, but an easy thing to solve. Everything OOB except for the belts and antennas.
Painted with TS50, I eyeballed the turqouise of the front wing and the big flap, but I couldn't quite get it to match 100% to the decal - which is metallic, at least I got that right. With the front wing you don't notice the difference, as it's not near the decals, but maybe for the big flap, a decal for the top side would have been nice. I painted and masked the nose, as I don't think that would have worked with the decal. The same with the red cow on the airbox - I halved the decal so I could paint the area around the airbox yellow.
Hope you like it.
And my little HHF-1 collection

Hi Marco,
You have done a beautiful job again!
Yes, the Revell 1/24 kits can be built into beautiful curb side F1 models.

Excellent job, Marco. I've always been a fan of your builds and photography. I hate to bring this up, but with all the recent conversations regarding tire lettering in my mind, are the arrows on the Bridgestones pointing in the right direction? Or is there no rule on this?

Wow looking very sharp! Looks way better now you’ve puttied the chassis! They don’t look like Revells anymore.
Great job!

That`s right about the tires, the arrows of Bridgestone Tires should allways point in the direction how they run, so the right side of the car is not correct, tires needs to be turned 180°.tubegenius wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 10:01 pm Excellent job, Marco.
