Brawn BGP001, Tameo Silverline 1/43

Post by oversteery »

Hello All, sharing some photos of my latest build, my first go at a 1/43 kit. I’ve always loved this car and the story behind it, and this was the only scale I could find it in. This is the Australian GP version. It’s far from perfect but I’m fairly happy with the result. Any limitations here are mine, not the fault of the kit, which came together much more easily than I expected. I’ve left the antennas and windscreen off as I didn’t trust myself to install those without making a mess of it. Paint used was Tamiya TS26 and TS29, with a little Mr Colour fluorescent yellow on the nose and Mr Super Clear UV cut.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone, it means a lot. I have another 1/43 in the stash, a Renault R25 (another one I couldn’t find in 1/20). Before I get to that though I need to give my eyes a rest and build something bigger.
