Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
Thomas, I think you will have to explain how to order it from Taobao also with international shipping
EDIT: actually, never mind. I think from what I read is, you need a package forwarding service (like buyee.jp) for Taobao so that is not going to be so easy and no doubt it will be live on websites that sell internationally soon.
Even on Aliexpress, perhaps.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
Yes I d bet Aliexpress is no doubt one of strong candidates.
Wow and what price!!!
I d surely take one 1/12 and SEVERAL 1/20
And start thinking how similar it is to a Ferrari? An RBR?
and maybe some Spaniard company will take the plunge to find out about importing a batch?

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
I'm a little bit not happy with AliExpress. After I place my first (test) order with them - the order was fine - that's when the F1M Forums were getting repeatedly hit by a bot on Ali Cloud....
So....

Already from the front wing you can see the Sauber's nose is connected to the first plane and the Ferrari and the Redbull connect to the second plane, the wanes on the floors are different, the sidepods are generally similar (all teams have the undercut this year) but have different contours, the back over the engines is different as is the rear wing...
In fact all that you can keep are the tires and the halo.

I would LOVE a Sainz Ferrari, but unless someone makes a 3D model of one, its not likely...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
That might be a coincidence. I have ordered stuff from Aliexpress many times over the years with no problems.
Obviously, I only order cheap junk that I am confident will be low quality, but as a reseller I must admit I cannot fault them.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
I found some information about the upcoming C44 kit. There is also information about a possible pre-sale reservation, but I could not get to the option to purchase.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024
Well... the nose thing is not that complicated IMHO. I´d be more worried about the front wings planes´shape themselves. Surely all the stuff close to sidepods front may differ but what the hell, it´s a nice base!BMW wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 5:09 pm They are quite a bit different

On the other hand, if you really like Sainz´s Ferrari, haven´t ou checked the RASTAR RC cars? OK, no real old style mdels but really well made. And cheap
