1:20 Go-Kart - with images this time

Hi All,
Apologies for my previous post which got deleted. I was having issues with image URL's being blocked due to Google being difficult.
Anyhow, let's try again with a new image host.
Since owning and racing a go-kart in the late 80’s I’d always wanted to replicate that machine as a 1:20 scale model. Having collected enough reference material from old photographs and other karting people from that era, the project got underway approx 15 months ago.
My go-kart replica was built from a Fujimi Senna Kart kit. The chassis and seat were heavily modified. The kit wheels were also used but got altered along the way.
The engine, exhaust, brakes, drivetrain (rotors, axles, wheel bearing cases etc), front wheel shackles, fuel tank, pedals, cables, bumpers and side bars, chain guards, floor pan and several other bits and pieces were 100% scratch built from various materials, mainly styrene rod and tube, aluminium or brass sheet metal and tubing.
Chassis decals were custom printed several years ago by Indycals. RB Motion throttle linkage was adapted to replicate the steering arm linkage. Chain is from a Top Studio motorbike chain set.
The only kit items left unchanged are the tyres.
Cheers, Paul
