Humidity, especially on the darker colors, I live in Houston so know this well, have to use an AC unit and damp rid most of the year

It can also be the mold release agent or grease on the plastic.
I have had the release agent react with paint before. Eduard kits are horrible in that, as are old and short run kits.

You should switch to airbrushing such stuff and using a water seperator infront of the gun. Don`t know if this is a correct description for this but too lazy to google it.

It just gets goofier. 24 hours after that last spoon, I did another; came out fine. Yet, this model piece, I soaked in Tyre Blech then washed in soapy water, dried it off then hit it 30 seconds after the spoon aaaaand...THAT happened again
