The news I got from Nunu is that the kit is in production and they are waiting for Lotus Classic final approval. So I guess that the kit will be release quite soon now.

Any chance this will be available in August? I have a McLaren MP4/4 meng in the warehouse. I am looking to combine them.

If you're hoping to save on shipping be very careful. It's no longer always true that one larger box has to be cheaper than 2 slightly smaller boxes. Remember, it's mostly now priced on volume as well as weight.

Grand Prix Models just updated their listing for the Beemax Lotus 99T with a bunch of pictures of the fully built model. I don't remember seeing these anywhere before.
It must be close to being released now
