The F1 89 is very good looking. What a nice job! I like the tire marks on the ground. It is very well done!
Hasegawa F1 kit suspension pieces are very fragile. I already have broken one piece for each of the 3 kits that I have just dry fitting.
It looks like that the engine and interior components of these Hasegawa kits are correct to dimension. However, the cowlings are way to thick in scale. This creates the interfering problem when trying to put the body cowling on. I have to sand down the top cowling at critical area to get it to fit.

Thanks to all for compliments. Yes CK, the cowling is very thick and any extra detail added to the engine-gearbox area will interfere when trying to close the "lid". I am working on another 1/24, I will not add anything at all hoping that the cowling can sit flush with sidepods. About the suspension arms, this is the first time I didn't break any, but on the Zakspeed and Lola LC90 I broke pretty much all of them, it was a nightmare.

Ciao Pierluigi
I am already working on the 2nd 1/24 kit, I am very slow in building but it will be ready soon. Thanks for selling me these nice but "difficult" little jewels!

I have the F1 89, FW14B, J191, and LC90 from Hasegawa. I need to thin down the cowlings at critical places to fit them back onto the main bodies.
I am just curious, may we know what is the car in 1/24 that you are working on now?

Cool, I'm working on the exact same car but in 1/20. Keep us posted on your build, we have very similar taste in cars.

Nice start on the Jordan.
I have this Hasegawa kit that I want to back date it to the J191. I tried to thin the the side panel and cut a hole into it. Now I am pondering whether I should just build it as J192.
I will follow your build progress.
