MFH Mercedes C11 LM 1991 1/12
Hello"
Here are a few pictures of my finished Mercedes C11 model. It took a long time to build, but everything is easy except for the doors that don't fit properly on the body. Have fun with the pictures.

Well done Ralf.
Looking very good and the base is also nice.
Don't matters if the door did not fit. Every MFH kit got that problem and the Mercedes is looking very good.
Good work mate.
Regards Christian

That's a very nice model you have built there.
So many little details to distract your eye away from any ill fitting doors.
Well done!
Cheers, Tim

Just a quick question for you, I'm just about to start my C11 so I was wondering what were the problem with the doors.
Re: MFH Mercedes C11 LM 1991 1/12
A very nice model choice and a nice build!
@ Viperdoug: There is allways a problem with the white metal casted doors and resin body cause of the different shrinkage ratio of the different materials, seen that a lot of times here and wonder for ages why MFH don`t change that way.
In CAD everything might fit, but in the casting with those different materials quiet often the doors are to wide and will not close finaly. Lots of work to make them fit.

Lovely Mercedes C11!
All the details, the CF decal work and paint look fantastic. The ignition wires add a lot of realism to the model.
