Protar Ferrari T2 Restored!

Hi,
Here's another one of my lock down build, or as as they call it here, "Enhanced Movement Control Order".
Its another restored Protar 1/12 kit that was originally build in the late 80s. The rubber tubing & tires had "bio- degraded" & melted the wheels & whatever it touches. The suspension linkages are mostly broken & replacements were scratch built. Decals are from Indycals. The tires were replaced with a set from my spare box that came from a M23 that was discarded decades ago. These old tires were "inflated" up with inserts cut from the rattle can plastic cap. Other than that, no new Tamiya parts were sacrificed.
It's restored as an out of box kerb side display as the interior, or the kit itself, is not accurate anyway. The amazing thing is that only 1 part is missing after all these years.

Cheers
