Re: tyre tags
I would want to commit myself.
I have now looked at several hundred pictures... from several years before 1988 and afterwards.
The separation is in 1988/1989.
The longer blue/orange stickers were used until 1988.
In 1989 the bar code was added, so the stickers were shorter and only B/W.

Re: tyre tags
The 1990 Brabham is running on Pirelli tires. So the decals are surely different from those used by Goodyear.

Re: tyre tags
Good job finding these. The pursuit of detail is never ending.steinietrabi wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 3:32 pm So I once digitized a few labels that I still found.
Upper row - all original stickers from tires digitized.
Lower row - left digitized decal by DecalPool, right original sticker of a tire from 1988.
Some of those must be sports car tires based on the size?

To bring in a bit more salt into the soup, 1993 South Africa

and 1997 Nürburgring

Overall there are not realy much good pics of the badges around, realy wonder cause you can find a lot of things and pics from cars in anyway, but this is something no one realy had on it`s radar.

Re: tyre tags
The "normal" stickers with the bar code are also attached here, but there are also other stickers with, I would say, a blue square symbol on them.
Greetings Thomas
Re: tyre tags
Half way right Thomas, but even the Barcode stickers look again different, like the long version years before. Interesting what the other stickers with the blue are for, but can`t find a better pic.

Re: tyre tags
I think the picture is a little better in terms of resolution, but it still can't be seen...
Do you really think that the bar code stickers look different? I really don't think so.

Re: tyre tags
Yes have a look on the tyre in the middle of the right row or the second from the left in the last row, not that wide but long.
