Early Christmas present from Japan
As was the case in 2017 when Takuma Sato won his first Indy 500, I was able to work with Model Factory Hiro again this year - albeit in a slightly smaller capacity: I provided model-builder-perspective victory lane and tech inspection reference photos to MFH so they could develop this beautiful 1/20 scale kit of Sato's 2020 winner. This was my thank you for my assistance. And although I haven't released any 2020 Indycar decals YET, those that I do will be fitted for this kit in addition to the usual Indy car scales.

I was able to connect with a friend who took delivery in Japan for me and has shipped it to the US. Looking forward to it.

What scale is this model? Is it injection molded plastic for the main body parts?

It's 1/20 and I'm pretty sure it's resin body parts.steveracer wrote:What scale is this model? Is it injection molded plastic for the main body parts?

Thought you would be able to use this... preview shows pretty good detail. I'd pick it up for you in Tokyo but ... At least now it's a only a 10 day quarantine

Re: Early Christmas present from Japan
As far as I know it's been out for awhile. They sent a regular production sample.
