Thanks a lot for your encouraging comments :-)

After 2 years of development time, I could finally finish the 1:8 "Prototype Engine" for the kit. Basically, the model is ready because everything fit perfectly and I can go directly into production of the kit parts with the current design.

Now that i have finished the 1:8 engine, i can get back to finishing the 1:6 full detail

Even the 1/8 is a masterpiece.
Can't believe that the 1/6 scale one will have more details.
Is it working at the end?

Um, being the nitpicker that I am, I noticed something, so I've marked it in bold in the quote above. What do you mean, the 1/8 is not full detail? There is more detail to be had in 1/6? Oh boy.
I'm still hoping that eventually there will be a 1/12 version of this. I'll sign up for it right away.

That aside, this is stupendous. I've run out of superlatives to use long ago. Absolutely mind blowing. Great work, Uli. Have you been in contact with Benny from the museum? Maybe they'll fancy adding the model to the exhibition - or a fleet of 1/12 models of their 917 lineup... :)
Cheers,
Roman
