Hello,
I'm working on the MFH 1/12 Lancia 037 engine kit. I've got to the place where the supercharger unit is attached to the engine block. The inlet manifold fixes to the block, and the supercharger support base fixes to the block at their respective locations on the resin engine block. However, when test fitting I've found that the pipe that connect the supercharger to the mixer/ inlet manifold is short by 2mm. I've gotten used to having to 'fix' some details on MFH kits, but this one has me stumped. Not sure if I should shorten the pipe, or alter where it connects to the supercharger.
Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Robert

If it was me I would just shorten the pipe a little so that the flange part will sit against the block without a gap...

Thanks Steve, that's what I've been thinking. I appreciate your response. I've found that with these kits, sometimes small adjustments at one key location can solve large misalignments further in the 'chain'.
Take care,
Robert
