Alfa Romeo Monza 1/8 Base Pocher

Post by bcordes »

Hello,

this is my latest model. Completed after more than a year. When I started this kit I instantly recognized that Pocher kits are not the standard we are used to nowadays. So I started with a complete new engine. 3d printed and combined with a lot of turned and milled parts. Like the engine most of the kit was rebuilt. The frame and the body are still Pocher.

I hope you like it.

All the best,

Bodo

Here's my bid to make it five Kraut posts in a row ;). Absolutely beautiful. Some of the photos could pass for photos of the real car. This is one of the "old" Pocher kits where reengineering seems to have been expected in a way, unlike the latter day models (F40, Porsche, ...) and I've seen people go nuts on these and the results are usually beautiful. This is simply stunning Bodo!

Only question I have - what colour did you use for the body, Zero ZP1098?
Cheers,
Roman

I’m thinking about purchasing a Pocher Alfa Romeo but why do you say it’s not up to standards. What’s wrong with them?

Roman,
thank you for your comment!
The paint I used is Zero Paint ZP–1609 without any clearcoat.
All the best,
Bodo
