1990-92 Lotus 102/B/D

Post by sh-modeling »

After several years working on and off, I finally finished my triple Lotus project.

1990 Lotus 102 Lamborghini (Japan GP)
- scratch build using mostly a Tamiya 102B kit
- decal set from S27 + various self made ALPS decals
- S27 brake set
- Lambo engine and front suspension pickups constructed in CAD and 3D printed
- diffusor adapted from a Tamiya McLaren 4/5B
- engine cover and bodywork modifications build from scratch etc.

These all look amazing! I personally would like to see some photos of the underside of the Lotus/Lambo's diffuser.

Great project, great finish!

Wow, those look great. I'm working on the 102D at some point soon, would it be possible to share the 3D printed files? Fully understand if you don't want to as well!

You know how much I like the 102 series, and I have enjoyed your WIP very much. Thank you for sharing this build with us.
They look fantastic!
What next? The two missing 107? ;-)
